Jack Stillwaggon is a senior operating executive with extensive P&L responsibility
in the U.S. and around the world with experience in both consumer products at Avon
and Stanley and business services at Olsten and Lee Hecht Harrison.
Jack has driven numerous initiatives to increase bottom line returns through enhanced
productivity measures and the creation of greater efficiencies.
Jack has held leadership roles at Lee Hecht Harrison, a leading provider of Career
Management solutions to Fortune 500 firms.
Earlier, at Olsten Staffing Services, Jack created the newest and most profitable
business unit for that $4.5 billion staffing industry leader. He built a $170 million
new venture in less than three years, half of that via organic growth. The other
half of the growth came from the acquisition and roll up of staffing companies in
Latin America.
Jack’s prime consumer product experience was 16 years at Avon Products. With a foundation
in Operations, Sales Management and Human Resources, he led units in the U.S., Latin
America, Europe and Asia/Pacific, conducting business in Spanish, Portuguese and
French.
After Avon, Jack positioned Stanley Home Products for sale by converting from an
over-reliance on party plan selling to catalog selling. He repackaged the product
for an updated appeal, streamlining the ordering system and outsourcing manufacturing.
Jack served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. He is the author of
Ships of Wood and Men of Iron a chapter in Sailing, Philosophy for Everyone.
Jack holds a BA from Iona College and attended Avon’s Executive MBA program.
He currently resides with his wife in Essex, CT.
